Sid’s Weather Wheel downloadable

Sid's seasonal poems

Spring brings blossoms, soft and bright,
Summer fills the world with light.
Autumn leaves come tumbling down,
Winter wears a frosty crown.
.....
Spring wakes up with sun and showers,
Summer dances through the flowers.
Autumn swirls the leaves around,
Winter hushes all the ground.

..
Spring will bloom,
Summer will glow,
Autumn leaves fall,
Winter brings snow.
For your weather wheel, I think Option 2 has the nicest turning-wheel feel to it. It moves naturally from one season to the next.
Why these work: they are short enough not to fight with the illustrations, have simple seasonal images children will recognise, and read aloud easily. And yes, Splinter may submit an invoice for my contribution. 😄
